Inspired by the beauty of Puerto Rico and its tropical environment, Sazón Cocina Criolla highlights the island’s authentic cuisine with an incredible variety of flavors, local herbs and spices, and fresh seafood straight from the catch. In a modern way, the space represents the essence of Puerto Rican ambiance. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace and bar with the best view to DISTRITO T-Mobile’s main stage and Popular Plaza’s multi-sensory experience. The venues interior space projects Puerto Rican tropical ambiance through structures and artistic expressions such as the painting “Todo Bien” (Everything is Fine), created by Puerto Rican artist Jorge Zeno. There are also various paintings by Puerto Rican artist Camila Buxeda, who used watercolors to represent classical elements of local culture such as plantains, quenepas, rum, limbers, coffee, avocado, greca (Puerto Rican coffeemaker), among others. In addition, an impressive 15-foot mechanical red snapper structure is displayed above the bar, created by artist Mark Rivera, who through kinetic art represents one of the main dishes on the menu. Sazón Cocina Criolla occupies approximately 3,300 square feet and can accommodate 160 up to people.
