About This Project
The combined 254-room SpringHill Suites and Residence Inn Orlando at Millenia was completed in April 2018 and are located in the geographic center of Orlando. The two hotels reside in a popular hotspot, adjacent to The Mall at Millenia, 10 minutes from downtown Orlando and 16 miles from Orlando International Airport, offering guests convenient access to major attractions including Universal Studios, Volcano Bay, SeaWorld Orlando, Walt Disney World Resort, ICON Orlando and the Orange County Convention Center. The hotels are also within walking distance to the Millenia business district, offering numerous restaurants, shopping and entertainment options.
Situated under one roof, the combination of these two powerful Marriott brands in Orlando allows guests to take advantage of a variety of room types, amenities, and services at one location while providing common social space for a unique experience. The properties share an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a pool bar/grill that opens for dinner, the hotels will also offer a complimentary breakfast each morning to make sure guests have a good start to their day. The properties feature two separate meeting rooms, giving guests a total of 1,650 square feet of meeting space. The hotels also feature an outdoor digital art installation. The 36’ x 57’ façade illuminates the architecture with colorful abstract imagery.
The property was sold to The Blackstone Group in May 2018.
